To maximize our impact, we focus our giving on two key areas. We help fund non-medical services for cancer patients, and we offer giving and volunteering programs for McKesson employees. In all we do, we seek to empower and inspire employees to make a difference in their communities.

We work with a network of 350+ nonprofits across North America, including hospitals, hospitality houses, and Cancer Support Community affiliates. Called Cancer Care Community Partners, they’re located in the communities where our colleagues live and work.

McKesson employees create care packages for our partners during our annual Community Days volunteer event, helping ease the discomfort of treatment. By volunteering, they also generate grants for our partners to fund services like housing, transportation, and counseling.

While our employees are united by their commitment to cancer, they also support a wide range of causes as volunteers and donors. The Foundation offers a Matching Gift program that doubles their donations, and awards grants for individual and team volunteering.
