Andy (he/him) has over thirty years of professional experience in the nonprofit sector, and over twenty years of experience as an Executive Director. While Executive Director, Andy specialized in fiscal and fundraising growth, program creation and development, and inter-agency and civic collaboration. His work has been primarily with small, grassroots nonprofits that provide recreation, education and support for youths, older adults and people with disabilities.
Andy holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee. He has taught communication at Marquette, Oakton Community College and College of Lake County. He is an active, published, and award-winning writer who leads writing groups and provides individualized writing coaching and editing services.
