For over forty years Mary Hartnett has supported diverse communities in achieving their strategic and fundraising goals. She has been the Executive Director of two Minnesota nonprofits and a government agency. She has led strategic planning efforts, capital campaigns, successfully negotiated contracts for earned income between nonprofits and the public and private sectors, built and mobilized cross-sector coalitions that resulted in the passage of landmark policies and funding for people with disabilities and their families. She has been recognized by national and local organizations for her work. She loves working with organizations to help them solve problems, find new supporters and help them to increase their impact. In addition to her work at Access Philanthropy, she is the part-time Executive Director of a nonprofit that protects voting rights and serves on the board of Protect Minnesota.
